Quick rundown of my situation:
Earlier this year I was bit by a pit bull on my hand, on my property, and the owners of the dog weren't very approachable nor willing to help with anything. After a brief chat, I learned the dog was not vaccinated, which led me straight to the hospital that night. Upon getting treatment, my hand later swelled up to the point that I couldn't make a fist, which landed me back in the hospital to receive 24-hour antibiotics and an overnight hospital stay. At this point I'm out a ton of money from missing work and hospital bills (I use my hands at work all day and had no choice with the severity of the injury). The dog owners could care less about helping pay for anything, and they never even reached out to make sure I was okay after the initial contact we had. Some great people they are!
